Ayurveda – The Essence Of Health

Ayurveda, like yoga, is part of the Veda, which means pure knowledge. While yoga involves body and mind coordination (unity), Ayurveda is a knowledge of life expectancy and a natural health care system that has been tried and tested for 5,000 years.

Ayurveda is easy to use every day, and there are four main areas that promote good health: diet, daily routine, digestion, and detoxification. Everything Ayurveda recommends maintaining balance in the body and mind and strengthening the body's internal intelligence.

Balance is the key to health and long life and, according to ancient Ayurvedic texts, to enlightenment.

The main elements of nutrition are: food according to your mind / body type and time of year; include six flavors (sweet, sour, salty, tart, hot and bitter) in at least one meal a day; and eat fresh, organically prepared food.

Ayurvedic physicians visiting the West note that most of the ailments here are caused by overeating, indigestion or lack of sleep. Good digestion means your food is properly digested so that all your body tissues are healthy.

Ayurveda recommends detoxification or cleansing to remove the ama that has accumulated in the system. There are three ways to detox: Create a good daily routine so it doesn't build up too much. Use simple self-cleaning measures at home.

Visit the Ayurveda clinic, an inpatient treatment to cleanse the deep toxin system, recommended at least once a year, ideally in spring.
